Brittany Ferries guarantees the protection of your privacy when you apply for a job. This Candidate Personal Data Privacy Policy outlines your rights to ensure we protect the personal information we process. We record the detailed information you provide as part of your application including:

• Your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and other contact information;

• Your CV, covering letter, past and/or relevant professional experience (or any other experience), training, or any other information you provide to us in connection with an application and/or the application and recruitment process;

• Information collected through interviews and telephone calls, if any;

• Information on the type of job sought, the desired salary and any other details on compensation and benefits programs, your ability to work in different geographical locations or other professional preferences;

• Information on how you heard about the position for which you are applying;

• Information on your references and/or a background check information (if applicable)

Brittany Ferries' policy is never to ask applicants for information that is considered sensitive. Please do not provide sensitive information (ethnic origin, political orientation, religious/philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health status, sexual orientation) when applying for a role.

By submitting your application, you consent to us processing your personal data during the recruitment process. Your data will be used to evaluate your application, to check your references as well as any other information you have provided. Your data will be used to respond to your application and invite you to an interview should your profile match a vacancy. You may be asked to participate in psychometric tests or tests measuring your business skills. You will be able to request access to the results of these tests. Your information is processed in the United Kingdom and the European Union. Brittany Ferries is responsible for your personal data and is subject to English and European legislation on personal data. Only those involved in the recruitment process have access to your data, and they have undertaken to use it only for recruitment purposes.

Your personal data will be kept for the duration of the recruitment phase.
